A German left hand dagger, ca. 1600
Robust blade with deep double fullers on both sides, the head tapering to a square section. Short, fullered ricasso. Crossguard slightly inclined towards the right side with small terminal knobs and thumb ring. Notch decoration struck on the obverse. Fullered grip with fine iron wire wrap and Turk's heads. Conical pommel with seven fullers, notch decoration on all sides and offset riveted finial. Length 47.5 cm.
