the base applied with two filigree foliage friezes, the shell engraved with Commedia del Arte characters after Jacques Callot, the stem shaped as a native, a saber on his left side and a quiver on his back

The parcel-gilt silver mounts in overall good condition.
Traces of enamel on the quiver. The filigree motif is in apparently overall good condition.
Legibles marks on foot rim and shell support.
The shell was restored on the front and the right side base.
Nice subject and very nice quality.
