the rectangular bookmatched alabastro a peccorella top with gilt-bronze beaded edge above four long drawers, the first drawer with hinged drop-down front opening to reveal a fitted arrangement of drawers with bone handles and inlaid with ebonised wood around a central door inlaid with lapis lazuli and white marble, raised on four paw feet

Condition Report:
In overall good conserved condition. The commode with old marks, scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use. The marble top with minor scratches and scuffs to edges and corners consistent with age and use. With white felt pads to the back along the width. Two vertical cracks which have been refilled. marble top: 3cm. thick, 88cm x 44.5cm. No key.
