A Gold Hanukkah Menorah - Tunisia
A Tunisian menorah made out of gold, the back is hand engraved. The sides are decorated with flowers, on the head a "hamsa" and on both sides a pair of fish. Seven pointed windows in the style of North Africa architecture decorate the back and symbolizes a royal balcony. The menorah has three parts, a row of detachable steams and a Shamash.
Period - mid 20th century.
In excellent condition. One of the legs is a little higher than the others, looks like it was never in use or very lightly used.
width- 20 gram. height - 9.5 cm
weight- 248 grams.
12k gold, signed twice in Tunisian signatures.
