A Continental Neoclassical style gilt bronze mounted bigio antico, breccia verde and mixed marble Grand Tour column
early 19th century
Surmounted by a model of Nike.

Condition Report: Figure of Nike and supporting plinth possibly associated - variation to quality of casting between figure and lower mounts. General marks, scratches, rubbing, wear, spotting, discoloration and dirt accumulation. Darkening to bronze overall. Notable rubbed wear to sphere supporting figure. Some stress cracks to figure. With scattered fleabites and chips to marble, particularly at extremities and notably to base.
