A Greek ceramic mother and child idol
A Greek ceramic mother and child idol, c. 6th Century BC, each with detailed heads, the woman's arms tapered and supports a strap which holds the child to her back, her body flared into a cone. An interesting early votive figure. H: 3 3/8 in (8.6 cm). Some repair and restoration to cones body, light deposits. Ex Pennsylvania private collection.
