A Green Tourmaline and Diamond Pendant on Chain the oval cut green tourmaline to an oval openwork frame with scroll seed pearl and rose cut diamond forms at four points, in white millegrain settings, suspended from an engine turned bale, on a trace link chain, total estimated diamond weight 0.10 carat approximately pendant measures 4.1cm by 2.3cm, chain length 41.3cm

The pieces are in good condition, however there is evidence of glue to one of the pearls. The pendant has likely been later adapted from an earlier Art Noveau piece of jewellery. The chain fastens with a bolt ring catch. The pendant is stamped with maker's mark 'GB' and also stamped '18CT', in our opinion would test as gold. It is also etched '34852 COMR'. The chain is stamped 'SILV' and in our opinion would test as silver. The green tourmaline measures 9.80mm x 7.04mm x 4.73mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 6.7 grams. CR made 18.03.24. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
