Comprising a brass-mounted three-way powder-flask for pistols, the body recovered in red leather (some wear); another for percussion pistols (covering missing, planished body with small hole); a white-metal mounted powder-flask and matching shot-flask for percussion guns, the first with bag-shaped body covered in black leather (damaged and incomplete) with applied shield-shaped white-metal escutcheon engraved 'John Elliot, Staith House, Washington', white-metal top stamped 'W. Bartram', and adjustable nozzle, the second en suite (body damaged at the top); a white-metal powder-flask with bevelled bag-shaped body (minor dent) applied with a medallion on one side embossed with a walked-up sporting scene, top stamped 'Sykes', and with adjustable nozzle; another for percussion fowling guns, with large bag-shaped planished body with white-metal seam, brass top and adjustable nozzle, the latter stamped 'J. & G.W. Hawskley', graduated from '3' to '3 1/2' drams, and with spring cut-off lever; another, with large bag-shaped copper body (minor old denting) embossed with lines of graduated beading over both sides, and brass top (cut-off spring incomplete) stamped 'James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield'; twelve brass-mounted powder-flasks for percussion sporting guns, each with bag-shaped copper body variously plain or embossed with designs of foliage, fluting, scallop shells, hanging game, a sporting scene and pheasants (three cut-off springs incomplete, two missing, some wear and denting); a naval gunner's powder-horn formed from a section of polished cowhorn, brass basal mount with threaded wooden stopper, and conical brass nozzle with sprung tap; a double leather shot-belt with Sykes patent brass 'Irish' chargers; two leather shot-flasks (suspension rings missing), one tooled on each side with a Highlander on horseback; two flasks each with tapering cowhorn body of oval section, wooden base-plug, and threaded horn cap; a brass-mounted pistol flask with cowhorn body of curved flattened form tapering to the nozzle; another, with flattened horn body of curved triangular from, with sprung iron tap; four shot-chargers, each double-ended and with sprung lids, one unusually of steel, copper and brass, the other three of brass and steel respectively and stamped 'Sykes Patent'; a combined whistle, nipple-key, turnscrew and cartridge-extractor for hammer guns; a brass powder-measure with wooden handle; and a horn snuff-mull, the terminal carved in the round as a dog's head with silver tongue, collar and bone ears, and hinged lid with vacant white-metal escutcheon (34)
