A Group of Boxes of Yugoslavian 7.62x39mm M67 Rifle Ammunition

A group of small cardboard boxes containing 7.62x39mm intermediate rifle ammunition produced in the former Yugoslavia. Each box features a white paper label printed in black Serbian Cyrillic. The top of the label reads 15 ?????? (15 pieces), indicating the quantity per box. This is followed by 7.62 mm METAK (7.62 mm bullet/cartridge) and ?? ??????? ????? M 67 (with ordinary bullet M 67). The text ? ?????????? ?????? identifies the rounds as having brass casings. Some boxes include the additional instruction ??? ?????? (without stripper clips). Production lot information is printed at the bottom of the labels. Two distinct lot codes are visible: ?? 7703 — 06 ??? 7691 and ?? - 7903 — 12 ???-77113. The ?? code corresponds to the Igman plant in Konjic, with the two-digit years indicating manufacture in 1977 and 1979 respectively. Several boxes retain vintage adhesive price stickers, including a white label reading 2.99 plus tax (photo 1) and a partially obscured white label reading 3.80 plus tax (photo 3). These rounds are military surplus intended for rifles such as the SKS and AK-47 patterns and typically utilize corrosive Berdan primers. Each box measures approximately 2 1/8 inches in width.
