A Group of Federal 40 S&W Jacketed Hollow Point Ammunition

A collection of centerfire pistol ammunition consisting of cartridges featuring brass casings and copper-jacketed hollow point (JHP) projectiles. The cartridges are presented both in a organized grid and in a bulk plastic bag. A headstamp on one cartridge visible in the clear plastic bag features impressed text around the primer reading FEDERAL 40 S&W (photo 3). The cartridges are constructed with lead-core projectiles featuring an open cavity at the tip and a serrated jacket designed for expansion. Based on the tape measure provided, each individual cartridge measures approximately 1 1/8 inches in length (photo 3).
