A Group of Gold Estate Jewelry
Comprising: a 19th century mourning choker with 10K gold terminals and woven human hair, a pair of 14k gold and opal earrings, and a circa 1900 enameled pin with 14k gold backing (most of the piece is not gold).
Dimensions: The pin is 1 1/2" in diameter, the choker is 14 1/2" long, and each earring is about 1" long. The approximate gross weight of the earrings and the choker is is 11 dwt (the weight includes the hair strand and the opals).
Provenance: From a Montgomery County collection.
Condition Report: Some loss and repair to the enamel of the pin, there is a partial break to the hair of the mourning piece, otherwise good condition.
