20th century, to include: a Virginia Metal Crafters brass inkstand in rocaille scrolling form, with conforming cut glass inkwell, brass and inkwell marked to undersides (2 3.4 x 8 1/2 x 5 in.); a second inkwell of grapevine pattern with dual lidded inkwells, unmarked (1 3/4 x 7 x 5 1/2 in.); a figural brass lidded magenta glass inkwell and jar (3 1/2 in. tallest).
The Estate of the late Frank Daniels, Jr. and his wife Julia Jones Daniels, Raleigh, North Carolina. A portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the North Carolina Museum of History Foundation
