A HARDSTONE CARVING OF A BUFFALO, LATE QING DYNASTY
The recumbent horned buffalo is carved with its legs tucked beneath the body and with its head turned to one side. The stone is of a pale greyish-green tone with lighter and darker russet inclusions.
