A HEAVY RUSSIAN SILVER TEA CADDY DATED 1803. Of slightly rectangular form, the front with engraved monogram AK, the fitted lid with acorn finial and chased border. The interior brightly gilded. Hallmarked St. Petersburg, dated 1803 and Cyrillic maker's mark noted silversmith Karl Brendenberg. Height 4.75 inches (12 cm). Total weight 660 grams.
