A Historicist Bohemian glass tankard with the imperial eagle
Cylindrical tankard painted in enamels with a the large black double-headed eagle behind a depiction of the Crucifixion. The outstretched wings bearing 56 coats of arms with those of the Prince Electors labelled, inscribed above "Vivat es lebe Das heilige Römische Reich mitsampt seinen Gliedern und allen zugleich." Dated "1626" on the reverse. H 36.5 cm.
