Depicting a pair of peaches connected by a leafy branch, a bat grips to one side with its wings spread, the celadon stone with natural veins and inclusions of russet tones, the branch carved in openwork to allow stringing.

The bat (fu, 蝠) synchronizes with 'fortune' (fu, 福); and the peaches are the symbol of longevity. Together, the jade carving represents well wishes for good fortune and long life.
