A JADE-INLAID CINNABAR LACQUER BOX AND COVER

Of rectangular form with canted corners, the sides decorated with bats and stylised Shou characters against a ground of repeating wan characters, the cover inlaid with carved jade rectilinear scrolls within a gilt bronze band.
