China, 19th century. The translucent stone of an even greyishwhite tone with faint hues of light brown. Finely carved in form of a bamboo shoot with its curved tendril, associated gnarly stems and leaves in openwork serving as handle, matching lid, fine and short bamboo shaped spout.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear. One side of the base possibly smoothened. The lid with a minor nibbling to edge.
