A JADEITE HANGING VASE AND A JADEITE TRIPOD CENSER

The flattened vase is carved in low relief on one side with a deer and pine tree, and on the other side with a pavilion under a pine tree. The handles flanking the neck are attached to linked chains pendent from a ruyi-shaped yoke. The cover is surmounted by a Buddhist lion finial. The censer has a compressed body raised on three legs and surmounted by two handles on the rim.
Hanging vase: 11⅛ in. (28.3 cm.) high with chain
Tripod censer: 4½ in. (11.4 cm.) high

CONDITION REPORT:
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Tripod censer:
- The censer appears to be in good overall condition except for two minute nicks to two feet, and a cut mark to one foot.

Vase:
-Both handles and the suspended pendant have restuck pieces due to conjoining the chain components.
-There is a short crack to the cover.
-There are a few chips and nicks to the extremities.
-There are inclusions and fissures that are inherent to the material.
