The blade of shinogi zukuri, chu-kissaki, mokume hada and toran hamon, the suriage nakago with three mekugi-ana, bearing an engraved signature and date, Bishu Osafune Mitsuhiro, Eiwa 5th year (1379), the third month, nagasa 66cm; the black roiro-nuri lacquer saya fitted with an iron tsuba carved and pierced with aquatic plants, a shakudo nanako fuchi embellished with gold Tokugawa-mon, a gilt habaki, Goto school kozuka and a kogai decorated in shakudo and gilt inlay with feather brushes, the samehada tsuka with gilt dragon menuki, with a sword bag.
