the pear-shaped body inlaid on each side with jade plaques carved in relief with pine trees and figures, one end set with a long tapering spout issuing from the mouth of a makara, opposite an elaborate handle linked by a chain to the domed cover, surmounted with a jade ram finial, all raised on a pedestal foot and embellished with coral and hardstones.
