A Japanese Tosei Gusoku, Edo periodIron suji kabuto of 32 plates with russet iron surface, unmarked, five-stage tehen kanemono, brown lacquered fukigaeshi with the karabana mon of the Nambu clan, five-lame shikoro with blue sugake lacing. Iron ryubo hambo, also with russet iron surface, and black lacquered three-lame yodare kake, unmarked. Seven-lame mogami sode with blue sugake lacing. Black lacquered iron yokohagi do, decorated with brown sabinuri and with eight sections of five-stage kusazuri in sugake lacing with collar and kohire. Shino kote, iyo haidate, later (?) shino suneate of black lacquered leather. With storage box. All pieces with slight signs of age and use.Condition: II -
