A Japanese pieced silk brocade priest's robe. Bearing an old label from The Halle Bros. Co., Cleveland, inscribed "Various gold Nishiki brocade Priest Robe Produced at Nishijin, Kyoto, date 1772. Used by priest of Shingon or Tandai sect."
