A Japanese sterling silver cream jug, the circular tapering form decorated in relief with a serpentine dragon against a hammered ground. Marked Samurai Shokai, Yokohama and further impressed sterling. Height including spout 2.5 (6.5cm), weight 3.28 ozt (102 grams).
Condition Report: Displaying some heavy tarnishing throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish.Some general expected surface wear, marks and scratches with a couple of dints around the base rim. Some heavier rubbing to areas of the decoration causing loss of surface detail, especially to some of the scales.Marks are located to underside and are clear and legible.
