A Japanese triptych woodblock print, 19th century. 'Cherry Blossom Day at Shin Yoshiwara', frame size 49.5 x 84.5cm, each image 34 x 22cm. The paper is discoloured, noticeably in the sky areas. The left print has a foxed mark. The right image looks to have a repair on the right hand Geishas arm, see images. From seeing the edge of this print at the mount these look to be cut down with no margins. A ripple effect on the paper suggests these aren't stuck down. The colours appear strong. These have not been examined out of the frame. We have no knowledge of the materials used but it is likely that the frame is 30 years old. They are likely to be glued at the extreme margins only.
