Wool with multicoloured yellow, white, red and navy horizontal stripes (khat-rast), featuring intricate delicate and dense floral elements on a white and yellow ground, interspersed with thinner blue and red bands containing stylized motifs, the ends fringed, the striped design showcasing traditional design favoured in Kashmir during the 19th century.
