69cm nagasa with iori mune, and a oil tempered blade signed "Kawachi no Kami Kunisuke", with 2 mekugi-ana. Kurijiri nakagojiri, with rough katte sagari yasurime. Configuration of the blade is typical shinogi zukuri oil tempering, with muji hada and a gunome hada. Gilt brass mounts, including the distinct long rooster head base of tsuka, engraved with floral vinework. Saya with a very fine, almost nashiji, lacquer, and fit with with gilt brass mounts en suite with tsuka, engraved en suite. CONDITION: Lacquer has been relacquered, and some hardware replaced on tsuka. A piece of wood has been used to fit suspension correctly. Blade is good with some mossing and marks.
