dating: 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Single-edged blade, the back chiselled and pierced toward the weak, one side engraved and decorated with silver (some parts missing); bone hilt, finely embossed, the base with vegetable binding, the pommel with horsehair; wooden scabbard almost completely covered with braided fiber, bone cap; an accompanying knife on the back with a long, wooden hilt, embossed with a human figure, binding in leather, braided bands. Small parts missing and defects. Bahau. length 62 cm.
