A KENYAH-DAYAK MANDAU
Slightly curved, single-edged blade, the back is chiselled and pierced with spirals toward the tip, the base with a curl. Typical, bone grip, finely chiselled, with tufts in horsehair, ring-nut with brass wire binding. Wooden and vegetable fibers scabbard, partially embossed, with accompanying knife with bone and wooden grip. Suspension rope in braided fiber.
