A KENYAH-DYAK MANDAU

Slightly curved, single-edged blade with chiselled and pierced tip, one side decorated with brass inlays (a lot of parts missing), the base with a curl. Bone hilt, richly embossed, the base with vegetable binding, the pommel with horsehair; nice scabbard, embossed and with fiber, braided bands, complete with suspension rope with bone, disk-shaped pendant. Sarawak, West-Borneo.
