A kiem (sword)

dating: 19th Century provenance: Vietnam, Straight, double-edged blade in white metal, without edges and tip. Nice, silver quillon with dragon's head in bass-relief on both facets. Copper-color grip with silver inserts, silver cap with one reparation. Copper-color, metal scabbard with silver-inlaid floral motifs. Silver mounts decorated in bass-relief with dragons, turtles and other animals. One lace with decorated pendant. For ceremonial use. length 85 cm.
