A Kashan lustre conical pottery bowl with six figures, Persia, circa 1200

of truncated conical form with flaring walls stepped down to a straight vertical foot, painted in a golden lustre, the interior with six roundels each containing a seated figure, the exterior with plain bands

8cm. height; 20.5cm. diam.

Condition Report:
The bowl intact except for one break near the rim with associated infill and overpainting which is visible due to slight discoloration, another part of rim with small break and some overpainting, hairline cracks throughout, lustre mainly strong, exterior with some firing discoloration near the foot, number '47' written in black marker, as viewed.
