A Kufic Qu'ran folio, probably Umayyad Al-Andalus, 10th century, Qur'an XXXVII (sura al-saffat), vv.17-34 (part), Arabic manuscript on vellum, each side with 10ll. of sepia kufic script with idiosyncratic rounded letters, added diacritics in sepia, vocalization in red, green and yellow, verse markers as roundels decorated with polychrome dots, one khams marker in the shape of the letter ha, mounted 18.8 x 29.2cm.
