Wood, lacquer and mother of pearl. Of rectangular form, inlaid with mother of pearl in distinct Chinese style with a bird, pomegranate and butterflies amongst a branch with leaves. The sides inlaid with archaistic symbols in mother of pearl. All on a polished, black lacquered nuri background.

Condition: Good condition, minor loss to inlay.
