MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
painted to the interior with a medallion enclosing two deer next to a lotus pond, encircled by a landscape band at the rim, the exterior with floral scrolls
Diameter 40.5 cm, 16 in.
Condition Report:
There are some chips to the rim (the largest ca. 2.2 x 0.7 cm). There are also wear and scratches to the surface overall. A glaze line (ca. 11 cm) is visible under the glaze to the well.
