A LARGE CARVED ARCHAISTIC JADE POURING VESSEL
19th century
Set on a gently flaring oval foot, the vessel with wide pouring lip and beast mask and ring handle, carved in relief around the body with taotie masks on a leiwen ground, within a band of stylised chilong at the rim and C-scrolls at the foot, the pale green stone with some mottled creamy inclusions.
