A LARGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE CANTON ENAMEL TRAY.
Qing Dynasty, Kangxi era.
Of rectangular form, enamelled with a pair of long-tailed birds perched on rockwork issuing chrysanthemum and magnolia, all reserved on a plain white ground within a puce foliate band, the rounded rim with a diaper ground reserving four quatrefoil panels enclosing flowering spray, 56.5 x 40.5cm.
