A LARGE CHINESE PAINTED AND PARCEL GILT WOOD WEDDING CABINET, REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949), of tall rectangular form and centering two hinged doors with a domed circular "togetherness" brass escutcheon, opening to an adjustable shelf interior over an interior door revealing an open compartment, above an exterior pierced base apron enclosing a central circular shou symbol for prosperity, flanked by paired bats and surmounted by a spread winged bat within sides of Buddhistic lions amidst frolicking cubs, raised on block form feet and includes sliding key.
