A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE ‘PHEASANT’ JARDINIERE, QING
China, 18th century. The circular porcelain vessel finely enameled with a pair of pheasants facing each other while standing on rockwork beside magnificent flowering peonies, the reverse with springing lingzhi. The everted lip painted with blue flower sprays.
Condition: Perfect condition with only minimal wear, few tiny firing flaws, some old soiling and calcification inside and at the base near the piercing.
