A LARGE FRENCH PROVINCIAL STYLE LEATHER TOPPED WALNUT BUREAU PLAT, SECOND-HALF 20TH CENTURY, the serpentine rectangular crossbanded top enclosing an inset gilt-tooled maroon leather writing surface, above an undulating frieze centering a curling acanthus leaves pendant and raised on cabriole legs with stylized foliate carved hips ending in scrolled feet.
