A LARGE GREENISH WHITE JADE 'LINGZHI' WASHER AND STAND

清中期 大型青白玉活環福壽耳靈芝洗
The washer with rounded sides rises from three bracket-lobed feet to an incurved rim. It is finely carved to the exterior with two auspicious bats forming the handles and suspende with loose rings. The interior carved in relief with a cluster of lingzhi sprays. The softly polished stone is of a greenish white tone with russet veinings. Qing Dynasty period.

Refer to a similar Qing Dynasty jade relief carved washer in the Shenyang Palace Museum collection, also a similar jade washer can be compared sold at Christie's London, on May 14, 2019, lot number 249, for GBP 395,250.
