A LARGE LONGQUAN CELADON BOWL, MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

The thickly potted bowl is carved in the center with a diaper pattern below a wave design in the well, and the exterior is carved with floral scroll.
12 1/4 in. (31.1 cm.) diam.

CONDITION REPORT:
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-There are glaze gaps to the interior and exterior and to the foot.
-There are a few kiln grit adhesions to the foot.
-There are expected surface scratches, particularly to the interior below the mouth rim.
-There are a few shallow chips to the base.
