Each decorated with polychrome enamels showing panels of stylized flower sprays and birds as well as with a central continuous reserve showing a phoenix in flight.

Condition: Both show wear and manufacturing flaws, one vase with the upper section repaired.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
