each modelled with a warrior wearing chain-mail armour over flowing robes, the face with lively expression and surmounted by an elaborate crown, seated upon a horse standing foursquare on an arched roof tile, all colourfully applied with straw, green and amber-coloured glazes

Height 58 and 58.5 cm, 22⅞ and 23 1/16 in.
Condition Report:
As illustrated in the catalogue, the figure to the left has a small area of restoration to the right shoulder of his jacket; the other figure has over-painting to each of the horses legs and around the bottom of the clouds where the they meet the roof-tile suggesting that the top section has been detached.
