Rectangular, realistically painted, the gilt garments of the Mother of God and Christ Child repoussé and finely chased, the halos and rosettes at corners closionné enamelled with varicolour flowerheads and scrolling foliage, the outer borders repoussé and chased with scrolling foliage, with a champlevé enamelled name plaque, marked throughout with maker's mark 211⁄4 in. (54 cm.) high
