A LARGE SANCAI GLAZED PILLOW
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Shaped as a throne chair, the sides of the pillow are decorated in high relief applications with flowers and pierced symbols. The interior well modeled as a figural lotus leaf with a further pierced symbol below a shou character. Covered overall with rich amber, and green glazes, the base unglazed.
Condition: Good condition with firing irregularities and minor wear, very few tiny glaze flakes and erosion to the head rest area.
