the hilt with two marine-ivory grips, with gold-inlaid grip-strap featuring floral cartouches, the tapering watered-steel blade with flat back edge and gold-inlaid floral decoration at forte, swollen armour-piercing tip

Condition Report:
The marine ivory grips with characteristic discoloration, some of original pins missing and some with green oxidisation, some ware along edges and abrasion, the mounts and blade with minor patches of oxidisation, sections of gold inlay missing and rubbed, as viewed.
