Naples, c.1790, of oval form upon four splayed feet, pierced openwork decoration with cast foliate swags and laurel wreathes, the pull-off domed lid with a pyriform finial, engraved with initials below a coronet, copper liner, marked thrice underneath and twice to the lid with town marks, also a later French control mark. 11.5cm high, 12.5cm long, 11.1 troy ounces (excl. copper liner)
There is some age-related surface wear but generally in good condition.
