A LATE 18TH OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY WHITE METAL MOUNTED RUSSIAN SHASQUA, 72.5cm curved blade with traces of etched decoration to include a cross mounted orb above what appears to be an Imperial Russian eagle, sharpened for use, characteristic white metal mounted hilt decorated with flowerheads and borders of scrolling foliage, contained in its white metal mounted leather wrapped wooden scabbard decorated to match.
