A LATE GEORGE II MAHOGANY POLE SCREEN, PROBABLY IRISH, with a rectangular needlework panel depicting a still life of flowers, on a turned stem, the tripod base carved with scallop shells, on pad feet. 158cm high x 55cm wide Provenance: From a collection of furniture and antiques left to the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB ) in 1939 by Evelyn Stannus of Kensington. Items in the collection are believed to have come from Ireland.
